Smaller size of Medtronic INFUSE Bone Graft approved

MedtronicMedtronic Inc. has received approval to market two smaller kit sizes of INFUSEĀ® Bone Graft for use in certain spinal fusion and dental regenerative procedures. The FDA has approved two additional configurations of INFUSE Bone Graft: XX Small (0.7cc) kit and X Small (1.4cc) kit. These new sizes will be available for clinical use from June.

Research on how to predict stress injuries in bones

BrokenResearchers have developed a simpler, faster and more accurate method than the earlier ones of determining how stress injuries might affect inanimate or human structures. The researchers take 3-D sampled or scanned data of structures and calculate the point of weakness so that preventive measures can be taken in advance.
